Building 16 Model Apartment Opens

Monday, November 10, 2008
News Release

Residents of Meadow Lakes were treated to a visit to the model
apartment in Building 16, a.k.a. Green Meadows, today.  About
75 of the current residents were present for this first opportunity to see inside the building that has been under construction for many months.  Susan Hawkins, Director of Marketing, led the tour and answered questions.  On Wednesday, November 12, as many as 100 prospective residents are expected to come to see the apartment.

The open apartment is a 1600 square foot "Westfield" style. It has a living room, den, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, capacious closets, and the amenities of washer and dryer, dishwasher, self-contained heating and cooling unit and cable wiring for TV and computer.

Residents who visited the new building were highly enthusiastic.  "The model apartment is beautiful, with plenty of closets.  What else could we need?" asked resident Mary Palmer.  Peg Van Horn said it is "Elegant and delightful."  And Bonnie Ahrens said her daughter likes it so much she's ready to move in!  Needless to say, excitement ran high on this day of days. We all look forward to meeting those who will come to join us at Green Meadows at Meadow Lakes, the community we love so much.

The apartments (in Building 16) are now being rented, with the first ones having been occupied in June 2009.
