The Late Jack Bales, Meadow Lakes Resident, was A Gentleman, A Champion, and All American
Princeton University has recently completed a documentary titled "The Story of Jack Bales." It is the story of a young football player who humbly walked on Nassau Street where kids followed him and just wanted to touch him. In 1933 he was known across the country as a national champion.
Jack was a champion at Meadow Lakes, too, having served a term as President of the Forum, the resident's association, and having served on several committees. Jack celebrated his 100th birthday with all of us on January 5, 2011.
